Tammy Ramsey

Tammy Darlene Ramsey, age 60 formerly of Maryville passed away suddenly on October 9, 2025 at Sweetwater Hospital. Tammy had an early career in accounting, but her passion was serving as a caretaker. She served as youth director at Trinity Baptist Church in Rockford. Tammy lived her faith in every single breath. She gave a piece of herself and her heart to everyone she met; the check out clerk at the grocery store, the neighbor struggling down the street, the stranger who just needed someone to listen, and especially her family.

Preceeded in death by her parents Wayne Ferguson and Rita Buchanan; brother Mark LeQuire; grandparents Lloyd and Iva Buchanan. Survived by husband Phil Ramsey; daughter Jennifer Pittman; granddaughter Braelyn Pittman; stepchildren Dustin, Josh, Kayla, and Tyler; nine grandchildren; special uncle Gary Buchanan; uncle Sandy Buchanan; aunt Ruth Maxwell(deceased); cousins Kim, Christy, and Kaney.

The family will receive friends on Saturday October 18, 2025 from 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm with the funeral service to follow at 4:30pm with preacher Jimmy Davidson officiating. Condolences may be shared through Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, Maryville, TN, 865-983-1000.
