STRAWBERRY PLAINS - Tanya (Bradley) Jones, age 61, of Strawberry Plains, TN, formerly of Rogersville, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at UT Medical Center due to complications following surgery. She was an employee of Grainger County Health Department and formerly with Hawkins County Health Department. Tanya was saved as a teenage girl when she bowed down in a bathroom stall at Rogersville High School, (currently Rogersville Middle School) and asked the Lord to come into her heart. She was a member of Spires Chapel Baptist Church. Tanya was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, niece and friend to all and will be greatly missed by all who love her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marlin and Linda Bradley; mother-in-law, Carolyn Jones; and uncle, David Bishop.
She is survived by her husband, Tony Jones of Strawberry Plains; son, Brad Price (Jessica); daughter, Kourtnee Helton (Brandon); step-daughter, Abigail Blake (Patrick); grandchildren, DJ Price, Gerald Thomas Price, Ryan Price, Brooklyn Helton, Tucker Helton and Caroline Price; step-grandson, Callum Blake; aunt, Faye Bishop; father-in-law, Tony Jones, Sr; brother-in-law, Chris Jones (Lee Ann); special cousin whom she loved like a brother, Jeff Fields; and a host of cousins, extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville. Funeral Services will begin at 7:00 pm with Pastor John North officiating. Graveside services will begin held at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Highland Cemetery in Rogersville. All those wishing to go in procession are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:15 pm. Pallbearers serving the family will be Brandon Helton, Chris Helton, Jeff Fields, Harlis Bradley, Christopher Bradley, Benjamin Bradley and Stephen Bowman. Honorary pallbearers will be DJ Price, Gerald Thomas Price, Ryan Price, Tucker Helton and Callum Blake.
