March 26, 2023 will always be a reminder of how short and beautiful life can be! It was on this day, that Tanya Evon Miner (Abel, Gonzalez) was gently pulled from this life by breast cancer. She left this world knowing she was going home to be joined again with her beloved mother, Donna Miner, her adored grandmother, Mary Beede, her father, Patrick Miner, her little brother, Patrick Miner, her baby brother, Baby Miner, her father's mother, Grandma Francis Miner and George, and so many more members of our little family! It was on this day that our family got a little smaller, but also a day that we became stronger and as one.

As Beautiful as it is that she is going to see her loved ones again, it's just as sad that we have to heal the hearts of the ones who have yet to ascend. These lovely souls include: her daughter, Aubree Miner, son, Ishmael Patrick Miner, her other half, Ignacio Gonzalez. Also left to remember and celebrate the beautiful life of who she was are her brothers, oldest: Whitman Miner, middle: Jeremy Thomas, and youngest: Christopher Miner, sisters-in-law, Angela Lyons and Rachel Westberry. She also had many beautiful nieces, nephews, and cousins who all are sad and bereaved at this moment.

To celebrate the life of Tanya Miner, we will be holding a family and friends ceremony at Buxton & Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home on April 10, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. After the proceedings there will be a gathering at the house of a loved one to fill our bellies and our hearts and remember who Tanya was and will always be.
All flowers and donations will be accepted by Buxton & Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home. These proceeds will go to help feed and shelter her Beautiful Babies.
