Tanya Marie Rhen of Camp Hill was born February 23, 1974, in State College, PA. Her parents, Dennis and Rosalie Rhen preceded her in death, Dennis passed in 2019 and Rosalie in 1983.
Tanya is survived by her beloved husband David Maynard, her dogs Bentley and Casey, her brother David Rhen, sister-in-law Melissa Rhen and step-sister Maureen Lanoix, her niece Ella Rhen, and nephews Landon Rhen, Michael Lanoix and Peter Lanoix, and her step-mother Linda Rhen.
Tanya earned a bachelor's degree from Clarion State University of PA and a master's degree in counseling from Suffolk University in Boston Massachusetts. She was a member of the Junior League of Harrisburg. She started her own business, 'Tanya's Cookie Boutique', in Camp Hill where she made delicious cookies with custom decorations for any and all occasions. Many families ordered her cookies for family events and every year, she made muffins and other treats for Camp Hill students.
She was active in the community and in the Downtown Camp Hill Business Association. If you were dropping off a backpack at school, you would likely see her helping out in the office. She was always present at Camp Hill events and never missed a soccer game. She was active in fundraising for charities, including "Girls on the Run", the Four Diamonds Fund, Team in Training, SECA and many other causes. Tanya will be missed by the Camp Hill community.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the Camp Hill Presbyterian Church 101 N. 23rd Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011
