Randall & Roberts Funeral Home - Logan St.It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Tatem Benjamin Costlow, who passed away on November 2, 2025. Born on April 11, 2003, Tate was a beacon of kindness, compassion and love for all he encountered.
Known to many simply as Tate, he preferred his given name, Tatem, and made it synonymous with genuine kindness and thoughtfulness. Throughout his life, he demonstrated care for others in many ways, not least of which was his love for raising Guinea pigs, a simple, yet heartfelt recreational activity that spoke volumes about his gentle spirit. He was a genius with electronics and built his own radios. He had worked as an electrician apprentice and worked at the Sap Bucket in Metamora.
He carried with him a spirit of peace and contentment characteristic of a mind at rest. He loved the serenity and the natural beauty of Nature.
Notably, Tatem was a faithful attendee at Refuge Christian Church, in Noblesville, IN and after moving to Metamora, he attended Boundless Ways of Grace. His life was a testament to the teachings of his church, summed up in one word: Compassion. His unwavering kindness and concern for others is a testament to his deep understanding and application of this virtue. Tatem was a caregiver to his grandmother, Dale Costlow.
Tatem's legacy is one of love and kindness for all people, a legacy that will persist in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be forever missed by his mother, Jody Costlow, his sisters, Bella Ott and Carlie Ott, his stepfather, Mark Brillhart, his uncle and aunt, Mark and Heather Costlow, and his cousins, Catey and Holden Costlow. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Dale Costlow and Carol Ott.
Tatem was born after his sister, Logan Alynn Costlow, passed away in 2002. His grandfathers, Stephen Costlow and Jack Ott, also predeceased him.
The light of Tatem's life will continue to shine in our hearts, reminding us all to live with kindness and compassion. He will be forever missed by his mother and sisters and all who knew and loved him.
Memorial Services will be held November 22nd, 2025 at Refuge Christian Church, 11772 E. 196th St, Noblesville, IN 46060. Visitation with the family will be from 2pm to 4pm, with a Celebration of Life at 4pm, and dinner immediately following.
