Taurean Blacque

I watched Mr. Blacque on Hill Street Blues for all of their seasons!! He was a great actor who I wish I could of met in person. I loved watching his fine self every Thursday at 10p for 7 straight years, that show was the first real cop show before Law & Order. Mr. Blacque and the others played their roles very well. Take your rest sir!! A life well lived!!

I met Taurean in the late 70s when I worked in the AEA credit union. What a kind and compassionate man. He used to come up to the AFCU to do some business and then invite me out to lunch. When he went to CA to live, he sent me Xmas cards for years afterward. I won't forget him.

To the family, many, many friends, colleagues and fans of this wonderful actor Mr. Taurean Blacque fine comfort with you during this difficult time in your lives. Mr. Taurean Blacque was an actor best known for his role as Detective Neal Washington on the acclaimed 1980s police drama “Hill Street Blues,” we enjoyed watching those shows. There is no greater pain there could be than losing someone you love, especially when it is unexpected. May Almighty God in Heaven comfort the Blacque family, friends and fan's broken hearts with endless love, strength, and peace as you cope with this loss in your lives. Mr. Taurean Blacque will certainly be missed by Hollywood and the whole world. May family, friends and extended family cherish his memories.
