Taylor Eugene Cothran

Taylor Cothran Greenville, SC Taylor Eugene Cothran, 18, of 16 Woods Edge Court, died Thursday, October 11, 2007. Born in Anderson County, he was the son of Thomas Eugene and Teresa Bishop Cothran of Greenville. Taylor graduated with highest honors from J. L. Mann High School. He was a student at the University of South Carolina where he was a Capstone Scholar, Palmetto Fellows and a Presidents Scholar. Taylor was a member of Brookwood Church. Surviving are his parents, Tom and Teresa Cothran of Greenville; his sister, Tara Leighanne Cothran of Greenville; his maternal grandmother, Anne Bishop of Greenville; aunts, Lisa Gregory of Greenville, Tracie Roman of Dallas, TX, Susan Dutt of Yorktown, VA and Vadis Mandrell of Chicago, IL and his uncle, Dr. Ed Cothran of Anderson and numerous cousins, great aunts and uncles. He was predeceased in death by his maternal grandfather, Carter Bishop and his paternal grandparents, Edward and Georgia Cothran. The family will receive friends Sunday October 14, 2007 from 2:00 until 3:00 p. m. at Brookwood Church. Funeral services will follow at 3:30 p. m. at the church with the Rev. Fenton Moorehead officiating. Private committal will follow the service.
