Ted K. Brown, 89, a lifelong resident of North Canton, OH passed away August 12, 2025. He was born July 3, 1936 to the late Pearl Warburton and Kingsley T. Brown. He was a 1954 graduate of NoCaHi and a 1958 graduate of Hiram College. Ted was a math teacher at North Canton Hoover High School for several years before going to Goodyear Aerospace where he retired as a computer programmer in 1991. The Cleveland Indians spring training camp led he and his wife to Winter Haven, FL where they spent the last 22 years enjoying their winters.
Ted is survived by his loving wife of almost 55 years, Barbara (Bowman), daughter Kathy (Bob) Chufar, grandchildren, Taylor (Matt) Mutzner, Matt (Olivia) Chufar, Shelby and Trevor Brown and great grandson Brooks Edward Mutzner born July 30, 2025. His son, Scott K. Brown, preceded him in death. He was a member of Community Christian Church. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Monday August 18, 2025 at Community Christian Church, 210 N. Main St. North Canton, OH with visitation at 10:00 am until service. Contributions in Ted's memory may be made to Community Christian Church, Tunnel to Towers Foundation and Samaritan's Purse.
