With hearts full of love and gratitude, we remember Ted R. Cienfuegos, who peacefully passed away on November 8, 2025, at the age of 90. Ted was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, courage, and unwavering dedication.
A Life of Service and Dedication
Born on January 25, 1935, Ted grew up in Globe with a spirit of adventure and a deep-seated sense of duty, which led him to serve his country as a proud Army Veteran. His bravery and commitment during his years of military service were a testament to his character, earning him the respect and admiration of all who knew him. He had a strong connection to his faith and served as a Knight of Columbus for over 50 years and held the position of treasurer for the Globe chapter.
A Loving Family Man
Ted shared a beautiful and enduring love with his wife, Dollie Cienfuegos. Their 72-year marriage was a beacon of partnership and devotion, setting a wonderful example for their family and friends. Together, they raised their son, Ted M. Cienfuegos, nurturing him with love and wisdom. Ted adored his granddaughters, Sophia and Victoria, who brought immense joy to his life with their laughter and accomplishments. Throughout his life, Ted was known as the patriarch of the family, consisting of eight siblings, and for his ability to bring happiness to those around him. He was the oldest and last Cienfuegos sibling to move onto heaven. He had a remarkable talent for making everyone feel valued and seen, from his family to his community.
A Lover of Nature, Music, and Togetherness
Ted was never happier than when surrounded by his loved ones during family gatherings and weekend events. Whether it was a picnic or a joyful celebration, Ted's laughter and warmth filled the air. His love for the great outdoors was evident in the cherished camping trips and fishing excursions, which became treasured family traditions. Alongside his appreciation for nature, Ted had a deep love for playing, listening, and singing Mexican music. This passion added a vibrant soundtrack to family gatherings, further enriching the moments they shared. These experiences not only strengthened family bonds but also created lasting memories that his family will hold dear. Ted's deep appreciation for these simple pleasures and his ability to create joyful experiences for those around him are part of the enduring legacy he leaves behind.
Remembering Ted
Ted's journey through life was marked by resilience, generosity, and an indomitable spirit. While we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the extraordinary life he led and the profound impact he had on everyone he encountered. His memory will be cherished and his legacy will continue to inspire future generations.
