Ted Crouch Obituary

Ted Lee Crouch, 62, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025, at his residence.

Born September 12, 1963, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Dick Crouch and Shirley (McMillian) Crouch Newland. He married Betty (Browning) Crouch on December 12, 2006, and she survives.

Other survivors include his mother of Greensburg; daughter Amanda Fricke (Matt) of Shelbyville, son Robert Crouch (Erin) of Waldron; 6 siblings- Tom Crouch (Karla) of St. Paul, Marie Crouch, Dawn Taylor, and Tina Crouch-Everhart, all of Shelbyville, Patrick Newland (Dawn) of Huber Heights, Ohio, David Newland (Tes) of Greensburg; sister-in-law Debbie Crouch of Waldron; and 6 grandchildren- Kolten, Rylen, Bryson, Christopher, Kevin and Abigail. He was preceded in death by his father, brother Brent Crouch, and stepfather Denny Newland.

Mr. Crouch was a lifelong resident of this area, and graduated from Waldron High School in 1981. He was employed at Crouch Industries as a tool maker/management for 40 years. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge, Moose Lodge, and American Legion, all of Shelbyville.

Ted was an avid Indianapolis Colts, NASCAR, and Indiana University sports fan. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, with Pastor George Willette officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday evening from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm, at the funeral home.
