Ted Randall Klimkowski

Holly, Matt, Dave, my sympathy and well wishes. Ted was passionate about everything he did in radio, audio, and music. He was such an honest and loyal man. He will be missed by many. We had long calls about work, ham radio, and Detroit that I now treasure in memory.

Ted was a proud Christian, legendary broadcaster, staunch amateur radio supporter, and great friend. Over the years at ham radio gathering, on the air, and on the phone, we spent hours discussing commercial and amateur radio, tales from the transmitter site and life in general.
My thoughts and prayers are with Ted's family and friends.

Ted & I worked together in Flint,MI, early '70's. He dragged me out of intense college schedules for needed "mental health breaks". Ted's great sense of humor and practical jokes-some we jointly crafted onto the ham radio community-- still bring me smiles. Condolences to Holly and sons Matt & David. I have listened to Ted for many years on shortwave radio over WTWW and WRMI. It is fun to hear great music and voices from all over the world here in Upstate New York.

I have greatly enjoyed Ted's music shows and amateur radio programs. We corresponded via email about broadcast engineering and in particular the challenge of keeping a high powered shortwave station on the air.

For Ted it was a legendary labor of love.
