Anne, my name is Coley and I am a classmate of Ted´s in Little Washington. Ted was a friend to all and we fondly called him "red head Ted." Thinking of you and sending my sincere condolences.

I first met "Red Ted" one summer when we were both counselors at Camp Leach. He ran my bathing suit up the flag pole as my initiation to down east camps, and I "one upped" him by swimming some of his laundry out into the middle of the river one evening and hung it on stakes as an early morning "flag" tribute in the river. I thought he was going to kill me until I helped him retrieve them, and from then on we had an unspoken truce to pull our pranks on everybody else instead.. Great times that summer with one of the funniest friends I met of my now husband, David.
