Teena Kay Horton, 49, of Knoxville, Tennessee, and formerly of Nicholasville, Kentucky, the loving daughter of Ronald Clay Horton and Wanda Darlene Coffey Horton, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025, in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was born in Lexington, Kentucky, on December 14, 1975. Teena had previously worked as a Paramedic in Jessamine County. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her companion, Christy Dawn Thompson, Christy’s children, Austin Bottoms and his wife, Sarah, and Hannah Brooks and her husband, Noah. Teena was lovingly known as Titi by two grandchildren, Jessi and Jaxon Brooks. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Clay Horton, Jr. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Bales officiating. The burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery with Austin Bottoms, Samuel Pike, Steven Hammond, Donnie Goodlett, Stanley Wiggs, and Randy David serving as bearers. The visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Thursday. Betts & West Funeral Home is honored to serve Teena and her family.
