Tekle Kareckas Obituary
passed away on Monday, January 10, 2011. Predeceased by beloved husband Petras in 2006. Loving mother of John and Stanley. Tekle leaves to mourn her brothers Kazimieras (Anele), Petras (Ona), and Alfonsas (Terese), and sister Elena, and sister-in-law Annie. Predeceased by Juozas and Maryte (Bronius). Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada, Lithuania, and Poland. Friends may call at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main Street East (east of Sanford) on Wednesday, January 12, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Lithuanian Church, 58 Dundurn Street North on Thursday, January 13 at 10 a.m. Interment at St. John's Lithuanian Cemetery, Mississauga. Donations to Pagalba Lietuvos Vaikams (Lithuanian Orphan's Fund) would be appreciated.
