Teresa F. Moore Blankenship, age 62 years, a resident of Elkins, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Davis Medical Center in Elkins. She had been in her usual health and death was unexpected. She was born March 21, 1963 in Elkins, a daughter of the late Ralph Moore and Frances Bohon Moore. On December 15, 1990, she was married to Robert "Bob" Blankenship who survives. Also surviving are one son, Greg Phares and wife Collene of Elkins; three daughters, Ashley Wilson and husband Mark of Elkins, Heather Morgan and significant other William King of Belington and Amy Dillon and husband Mike of Honea Path, SC; one brother, Bernard "Bud" Moore of Elkins and three sisters, Nancy Morgan and husband Tom of Elkins, Jean Teter of Elkins and Carole McDonald and husband Tom of Junior. Thirteen grandchildren, Jaiden, Adam, Peyton, Waylon, Addisyn, Ameliah, Silas, Taylor, Lucas, Aedon, Easton, Tres and Stella; several nieces and nephews also survive. Also preceding her in death were her mother and father-in-law, Rosella and Robert A. Blankenship, Sr.; three brothers, Donald "Don" Moore, James "Jim" Moore and Jerry Moore and one sister, Irene Moore. Teresa was a graduate of Elkins High School and was the Payroll Clerk for Hometown Care.
Friends may call from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Wednesday from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Dave Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Teresa F. Moore Blankenship. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.tomblynfuneralhome.com.
