Teresa Carol Brandon

Teresa Carol Brandon was born on October 4th, 1954. She was born to the late Mildred Green and William Southerland.

Teresa worked at Clara Maas Medical Center for over 30 years - the place that so many would come to love her. She was so full of life and as many would say the life of the party. She loved to laugh and what a laugh she had. One thing about Teresa that everyone knew was that she loved her children and grandchildren. She talked about them all the time and expressed the love she had for them every time she spoke of them.

Teresa, nicknamed Rea TeeTee and Mama Tee, was the definition of a true friend, a very loving individual and most of all the best mother and grandmother anyone could have. She was there for everyone. She will truly be missed.

Teresa is survived by her loving children Lakisa Green and Michael Brandon (Racean Holmes). Her grandchildren Shante Green and Laquana Hicks and her great-grandchildren Yasin Fields and Zyhir Reese, her nephew Marcus Green, her Southerland relatives in New Jersey and North Carolina, and her Brandon family in North Carolina.

Teresa is preceded in death with her mother Mildred Green, her father William Southerland, her sister Gladys Dunston, and her brother Willie Green. Teresa also had a significant number of extended family members and friends.

Michael and Lakisa would like to thank the village that helped take care of their mother Teresa her last days of being with us. Y'all are greatly appreciated.
