Teresa Martinez

  Teresa Martinez, 88, passed away on April 26, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in San Jose de Aura Coahuila, Mexico on March 8, 1937, to the late Aureliano and Ramona Reyes.

  She married her husband Cesar Martinez on January 30, 1952, in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila Mexico. Teresa had a love for gardening and planting beautiful flowers. She also loved cooking and spending time out at the ranch with her husband, her children, and grandchildren. She always opened her home to those that needed a place to stay, and provided a loving and caring environment. The love she had for everyone really showed, and was felt by all that had the privilege of knowing her.

  She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Cesar Martinez; two grandsons, Cesar Martinez and Ramiro Guadalupe Ramirez; and her six siblings.

  She is survived by her eight children: Guadalupe Hernandez (Juan); Cesario Martinez (Beatriz); Oscar Martinez; Alma Garcia (Carlos); Irma Gomez; Jose Luis Martinez (Martha); Jesus Martinez (Rachel); Rodolfo Martinez (Claudia); she is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 56 great grandchildren. She will be missed immensely by her loving family.

  Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 1, 2025, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086.

  A funeral ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 2, 2025, also at the funeral chapel, with burial following at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth.
