Teresa A. McPhearson, 66, of Marion, passed away peacefully at 5:31 am on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Marion Health. Born in Marion, Indiana, on October 24, 1958, to Ronald Lee Eib, Sr., and Glenna (Cook) Burnett, Teresa lived a life full of love and dedication to her family.
Teresa attended Elwood High School and married Richard McPhearson on May 26, 1995. Together they shared many happy years. Teresa was a devoted homemaker, who found joy in simple pleasures like coloring, doing word searches, playing games on her phone, and watching Family Feud with Steve Harvey. She was also a fan of country music. Teresa's memory will be cherished by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her warmth, her love for her family, and her joyful spirit.
Teresa is survived by her son, Paul (Kimberly) Wigner of Fairmount; her mother, Glenna Burnett of Elwood; her siblings, Roy (Cindy) Eib, Sr., Ron Eib, Jr., George Burnett, Jr., Debbie Eib, Penny (Brad) Adams, and Stacey (Mike) Wilson; and her step-mother, Terry Eib. She leaves behind a legacy of love with her grandchildren, Danika, Toby, Jerit, Seth, Abby, Ty, Hayden, Johnathyn, Nathyn, Brandyn, Damion, and Austin; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Teresa was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Earl McPhearson; her father, Ronald Lee Eib, Sr.; and her step-father, George Burnett, Sr.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Teresa's life will begin at 12:00 noon with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory in Marion.
