Teresa Jane Pienta

Teresa (Teri) Jane Pienta, 77, of Baird passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025, in an Abilene hospice facility surrounded by family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 24, 2025, at Bailey Howard Funeral Home Chapel with her brother-in-law, Father Bob Pienta officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at the Texas State Cemetery in Abilene. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Teri was born March 27, 1948, in Yakima, Washington to John and Leora (Burks) Robinson. She graduated high school in Yakima and soon after married the love of her life, Michael John Pienta, in Big Spring on August 26, 1967. She worked as an LVN for a few years at nursing homes in the Abilene area and was a member of Saints Joachim & Ann Catholic Church in Clyde. Teri loved her kids and grandkids and always looked forward to going out to eat with her family and friends. She was like a mom and best friend to many throughout the years.

She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Seals and husband Doug of Abilene; two brothers, Andrew Robinson and wife Fran of Yakima, Washington and Jim Robinson and with Cathy of Spokane, Washington; two grandchildren, Chris Seals and wife Amy of Breckenridge and Tim Seals and Cathleen of Clyde; three great grandchildren, Braelyn and Jaycee Seals and Thomas Ward and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Teri was preceded in death by her parents, John and Leora Robinson; her brother, Max Robinson, her sister, Linda Robinson and her husband, Mike, who passed away on September 26, 2025.
