Teresa Jean Veach, 70, of Hamshire, Texas, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2025, after bravely enduring a long battle with cancer. Teresa's final moments were spent surrounded by her loving family, a testament to the warmth and devotion that defined her remarkable life.

Born on September 25, 1954, in Concord, Michigan, Teresa was the cherished daughter of John and Yvonne Putnam. Teresa was steadfast and full of determination. On July 5, 1984, Teresa married the love of her life, Thomas Veach, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and family. Raising her children brought her immense joy, and she poured her heart into nurturing her family.

After her daughters grew up and began their own journeys, Teresa embarked on a new chapter as an office administrator for DME Company, where she faithfully served for 20 years until her well-earned retirement. Teresa's work ethic and dedication were unwavering, yet she always found time for the things that brought her happiness.

Teresa's passions included crocheting, tending to her vibrant gardens and flowers, and transforming her home for every season and holiday. Family meant everything to Teresa, and she proudly wore the titles of grandma and GiGi to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her home was a haven of love, laughter, and festive cheer.

Known for her playful spirit and quick wit, Teresa filled every room with joy. Her mischievous pranks and jokes kept loved ones guessing, while her candid opinions-delivered with humor and heart-left lasting impressions. Her ornery ways and lively personality will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas Veach, and a sister, Paula Tyler, Ginny Hodges niece.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, carried on by her three daughters and their husbands: Katrina Makris and husband Corey of Sebring, Florida, Rachel Roberts and husband Joey of Pampa, TX, Stephanie White and husband Chris also of Sebring, Florida; six grandchildren: Brittney Spires, Haley Kimberlin, Hunter Sweeney, Heather Gonzalez, Keegan White, and Kinsley White; eight great-grandchildren: Jayden Spires, Jase Evans, Colton Hartley, Sylar Sweeney, Jasper Sweeney, Damian Gonzalez, Paislee Kimberlin, Lorenzo Gonzalez; and her dear companion and friend, William Hill (Pops) of Hampshire, Texas. Teresa is also survived by her seven siblings and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will forever cherish her love and laughter.

In accordance with Teresa's wishes, her family will hold a private celebration of life. The family has entrusted her cremation care to Winegeart Funeral Home.
