Terik Andell

Terik Andell, age 47, of Aitkin and formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023, at his home on Lake Wladimiraf, southeast of Aitkin. Born and raised in Philadelphia, the son of Rev. Paul and Pamela Andell. Terik had an outgoing personality and made friends easily and stayed in contact with most of them his entire life! Terik's education led him into the mental health helping field specializing in drug and alcohol counseling in both Philadelphia and Aitkin. He had an overwhelming passion and a calling to serve those who were suffering and hurting, especially around addictions.

Terik loved all things Philly including its sports teams and cuisine. He had an incredible artistic eye in photography, an avid interest in cars and in all things mechanical as well. Throughout his life he enjoyed his summers at the lake in Aitkin.

His greatest joy were his children, Elana and Terik as his love for them was boundless. Terik is also survived by his parents, his sister, Eva and her husband, Michael, their children Liam and Ella, his sister-in-law, Phai and daughter, Tiana. In addition, Terik is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Todd and Troy.

His service will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in rural Aitkin on Friday, January 27, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Rebecca Hinz officiating. A private interment will occur in the Bethlehem cemetery.
