Terra Mona Phillips, 36, was born on May 19, 1987, to Gloria Phillips and Terry Guidry in St. Joseph, and departed this life on June 2, 2023, in Tokyo, Japan.
A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 24, at New Bethel Church, 2360 Townline Road, Benton Harbor. Burial will follow in Crystal Springs Cemetery in Benton Harbor. Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the church. Family and friends wishing to leave a condolence online may do so at www.robbins brothersfh.com.
Terra attended BHAS and graduated in the Class of 2005. She earned two associate degrees: applied business accounting in 2008 and applied business management and marketing in 2011. In 2014, she completed her bachelor's degree in business administration accounting.
Terra worked for Lakeland Health for 11 years before relocating to Houston, Texas, where she was employed by Momentum Midstream and DTE Midstream.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother Gloria Phillips, her father Terry Guidry (Carolyn Price); two sisters, Natasha King and Jasmine Guidry; aunts, Stella (Victor) Johnson, Vanessa Guidry, Cheryl Phillips and Diane Guidry; uncles, Lance (Carol) Slater, Brian (Celinda) White, John Fryer Jr., Marvin (Cynthia) Guidry and Adrian Guidry; her goddaughter, Lovely Douglas; her two nieces, Diavian King and Jayla Bowman, and a host of cousins, classmates and friends.
Terra was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence and Lillie Guidry and Grace Fryer and J.C. Daughtry, her brothers, Deonta Phillips and Eric Phillips; uncles, Thomas Hill and Raymond Jordan Jr.

I only met Terra once when she visited the Detroit office. She was so friendly / outgoing / positive and I was sad to hear of her passing. I know she will be greatly missed by those she leaves behind. My sincere condolences on your loss.
