Terrell Stephon Savage, Jr. passed away peacefully at Ochsner Medical Center Main Campus on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the age of 13, surrounded by his loved ones. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. “TJ’, as he was affectionately known to family and friends, was an 8th grade honor student at Harriet Tubman Charter School. Terrell brought joy and love to everyone he encountered. His bright smile and genuine kind heart lit up every room he entered. He loved playing video games, creating content on social media, and exploring and learning about outer space. Terrell had a special way of reminding us to find beauty in the simple things. Loving son of Terrell Stephon Savage, Sr. and Destiny White. Adored brother of Milan and Jewel Savage. Beloved grandson of Ruby Savage. Nephew of Keishon Brown, Veronique and Robert Savage, Ruben and Durell Jeanpierre, Ferdinand (Tanisha) White, Melvin White, Curtis Jackson, Gregory (Thero) Jackson, and Earl S. Jackson, III, Gail Armant (Charles) Ronald (Dawn), Darryl, Melvin, and Mary Ann Taylor, and Rev. Roberta Jackson. Terrell is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also faculty, staff and students of Harriet Tubman Charter and Renew Laurel Elementary Schools are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe Street, Gretna, LA on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
