Terry was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was well known in McCreary County for his devotion to his community. For over 50 years he was active between serving as Deputy Sheriff, Deputy Jailer, a Firefighter, and an EMT. Terry was also in support of the DARE program, helping the fight against drugs in the area. Through his service, Terry made many friends and formed several lifelong friendships that he always cherished.
When he wasn't working, you could find him fishing, hunting, or wrapped up watching any type of racing, anything that had four wheels and went fast. Terry was also an avid reader. But above all things, Terry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved nothing more than being with his grandchildren.
