Terrence "Terry" P. Lewis, 40 a beloved Father, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, and Friend of South Bend, IN passed away on Sunday September 14, 2025, in Seattle, Washington.
Terrence known as "Terry" by all those who knew him was born to Gregory and Cythina Lewis on March 5th, 1985. Terry was educated through the South Bend Community School Cooperation. Terry was an incredible athlete in high school especially in football. Some of Terry hobbies includes being outdoors, playing basketball, watching movies, and traveling. Terry received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age at Faith Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Stephen Perkins, Sr. He was a huge fan of Kobe Bryant and Kanye West. In 2018, Terry obtained his CDL license and landed a truck driving gig for Swift Trucking Company allowing him to travel across the country before settling in Seattle Washington.
Survivors left to cherish his memory includes his wonderful mother Cynthia Lewis (Wright) of Marion, IN. One Son Zephariah Lewis and one precious daughter Zoey Lewis both of South Bend, IN. Two brothers Gregory D. Lewis Jr of Elkhart, IN and Aaron (Latishia) Lewis of South Bend, IN. Four nieces La'Nashia, Nevaeh, Ma'Leah, and Cyn'thia Lewis of South Bend, IN and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Terry was proceeded in death by his father Gregory T. Lewis Sr., maternal grandmother Lurentha Wright and paternal grandparents Bonnie Jean and Tom Walker Sr. Also, by his great-grandmothers Etta Black and Octavia Bryant Lewis. Two first cousins LaAyre Doaks and Jayqwena Pollard a long with a host relatives and friends.
