Donna-Terrence Powers, a beloved figure in the world of automotive service and a cherished family man, passed away on January 11, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on November 1, 1947, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Terrence dedicated much of his professional life as a service advisor at a Ford dealership, earning respect and admiration from colleagues and customers alike.
Terrence's passions extended beyond his career; he had a zest for life that resonated through his many hobbies. He was an enthusiastic player of tournament cribbage and enjoyed various card games, relishing the thrill of friendly competition. Additionally, he was an accomplished woodworker, known for his ability to repair and create with remarkable skill. His friends and family often marveled at his knack for fixing anything that needed attention, a testament to his resourcefulness and dedication.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years, Carol Powers, who remained his steadfast companion through all of life's journeys. Terrence is also survived by his brothers: Robert F. Powers, David T. Powers, Donald J. Powers, and Timothy J. Powers, and his sister Susan B. Atwater. He will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom enriched his life with joy and laughter.
Terrence was preceded in death by both his parents, Thomas Robert Powers and Margurite Sauve, who instilled in him the values of hard work and integrity that he carried throughout his life. As we reflect upon his life, we celebrate the many moments he shared with family, friends, and all those who were fortunate enough to know him. His contributions to both his profession and his community will not be forgotten. As per his wishes, Mr. Powers will be cremated at a later date.
