Minister Terri Ann Baskerville was born on April 13, 1965 to the late: Clarence Young, Sr. and Rosa Lee Hinton Young in Columbia, South Carolina. Terri departed this life on Friday, January 30, 2026 to be in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death also by 2 brothers: Thaddeus Young and Charles Young.

Terri graduated from Lower Richland High School in 1985. She later earned an Associate of Science Degree as a Medical Assistant in 2001. She went on to gain Certifications in several fields of study: Medical Transcriptionist in 1998, EKG/Cardiovascular Technician in 1999, and Pharmacy Technician in 2014. She also received her Nail Technician License in 2003. Throughout her life, Terri worked as a Home Health Aide from2007-2009, a Residential Counselor with Carolina Builders Children's Home from 2009-2014, and as a Certified Medical Assistant for the South Carolina Youth Challenge from 2012 until 2019, when she then retired.

Terri's community affiliations were the Phi Beta Lambda of Columbia Junior College and the Zeta Theta Beta Chapter. Her recognition awards were: Missionary Outreach Program Appreciation Award, Special Achievement Award, Department of the Army Certificate of Achievement, and Employee of the Month Award.

Her religious Connections were through the Trust Ministry. She was also ordained as a Minister on August 3, 2013 and graciously served God through Preaching and Singing for her Lord. She graciously created the Helping Hands for Single Parents Organization and served her community well and her God, faithfully.

She met and married Anthony Baskerville on March 18th, 1995 and they resided in Hopkins, South Carolina with their loving fur babies: Spunky, Sada and 2Face whom they acquired during their later years together.

Tony lost the love of his life, Terri, after a period of illness. She leaves behind her loving, devoted husband, Tony, after 30 years of marriage. In addition to her husband, left to cherish her memories are her children: Antonio Young, Antoinette Baskerville (Matt), Anthony Baskerville. Jr. (Sara), Andre Baskerville (Aubrey); her loving grandchildren: Mikhela, Anthony III, Desiree, Gabriel, and Brandon (Ivorie); and recently born great-granddaughter, Iris. She also leaves behind 3 brothers: Clarence Young, Jr., Jerry Young, and Perry Young (Kenya), 1 sister: Jacqueline Brantley, and a host of In-laws, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and dear friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Thompson Funeral Home, 845 Leesburg Rd, Columbia, SC at 11AM with interment to follow at 1pm at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. A visitation for friends and family will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026 from 5-7PM at Thompson Funeral Home of Columbia.
