Terri Noreen Calvert entered into God's kingdom on December 3rd, 2023. She was born June 25th, 1960, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Doris Cox and Danny Calvert.
Terri was a devoted mother and grandmother and is survived by her mother Doris Webb, fiancé David Sloan, daughter Randa Cowan, and grandchildren Alex Cowan, Aeja Cowan, Adrian Cowan, Devynn Yates, and Vincent Byrd. She is proceeded in death by her father Lee Webb and son Dustin Byrd.
Terri attended school at Grain Valley High school until 1977 and was actively involved in her family's motel business in Grain Valley. Terri later helped manage a family bar establishment until 1994 and her entrepreneur spirit continued throughout her lifetime, always pursuing jobs to help support her family and was no stranger to getting her hands dirty. With her former husband, Terri raised her children in Blue Springs, and she embraced her most important job as a mom. Terri had a one-of-a-kind personality and was a force to be reckoned with. She can best be described as extremely loyal, strong-willed, full of life, and would go to the ends of the earth for those closest to her, especially her children and grandchildren. The most cherished memories of Terri include her gift of singing, especially alongside a karaoke machine with her friends and family. For years, Terri could be found singing anything from country to old school rock and roll, making holidays and special events memorable for years to come. She loved to tell stories, both old and new, and had the charisma to engage her audience, making them feel as though they lived the events themselves.
There was no one else like Terri Noreen Calvert. Her infectious smile and deep-rooted love for her family will be forever engrained in the hearts of all who knew her.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 12th at 5:00 pm, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 pm at Royer Funeral Home, 100 Royer Ln., Grain Valley, MO 64029.
