Terri Mayo-Estep aged 66 passed away on June 26, 2024, in San Angelo, Texas. Born on January 27, 1958, in Bastrop, Louisiana, Terri devoted her life to caring for others as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, a career that reflected her bighearted nature. Terri was a graduate of Central Texas College, which laid the foundation for her fulfilling career in nursing. Known for her compassionate spirit, she was not only a dedicated nurse but also a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Terri cherished her family deeply, celebrating a happy marriage and the joys of raising four daughters and one grandson, It was a joy to her witnessing the growth of her family to include twelve grandchildren,five great-grandchildren, and the pending birth of a great grandchild. She leaves behind her spouse
Elvian Estep of Brady, four daughters Stephanie Gonzalez and spouse JD Gonzalez of Killeen, Stacie Lowery of Metairie, La.,Evelyn Estep of Brady, Sonja Skellen of St.David, Az.and Shelby Stewart and spouse Monica Stewart of Harker Heights, Tx. Like many people Terri acquired children and grandchildren by marriage. She never referred to any as step children. They all belonged to her and all were given love and guidance equally. Terri was preceded in death by her parents, Dorman and Sandra Mayo, and her siblings, Penny Sheets and Kelly Stepherson. In lieu of a memorial service, those wishing to honor Terri's memory can make
contributions to St. Jude, a cause close to her heart. Her legacy of love, care, and generosity will continue to live on through her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
