Terri DeAnn Peer was born in Monroe, Michigan on December 4, 1972. She was one of three children born from the union of Edward Peer and Barbara (Squier) Peer. She attended Jefferson High School, graduating with the Class of 1991. She then moved to Mount Pleasant, Michigan enrolling in courses at Mid-Michigan Community College.
While attending Mid-Michigan, Terri was employed at the Soaring Eagle Casino where she worked as a High Roller Manager. She later moved back to Monroe and took a similar role with MGM Grand Casino. In her position she met many famous people including Cuba Gooding Jr. and Darrin McCarty. She left her job at MGM when she was hired at Ford Motor Company. After a few years, she was offered a buyout and used this opportunity to return to school at Wayne County Community College and completed her associate's degree in occupational therapy. For more than fifteen years she worked as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant most recently for Select Rehab at FountainView of Monroe.
Throughout life, Terri's Christian faith kept her grounded. She married Christopher Lee Fields on October 9, 2010, at the North Monroe Street Church of God. The couple was blessed with two children. She was a wonderful wife and mother. She was a frequent fixture at all of her children's sporting events and was mother to all of their friends as well.
Being a Jefferson Alumni, Terri was extremely proud of the Bear nation. She served on the board of the Junior Bears and was very involved in the Bear Attack. The football, wrestling, and baseball programs were all a huge part of her life.
To Terri nothing was more important than family. She loved life and she was the life of every party, loved to laugh, and was a jokester. She was the family photographer and in addition to taking 1000's of selfies she certainly captured all her loved ones. Terri enjoyed taking vacations or simply picnics in the park where she might throw down a blanket and spend the afternoon. She had the ability to make simple things fun and memorable. She loved shopping. Always looking for fun things to do, Terri was constantly in search of the next adventure.
