Terri Sue McConnaughey, 67, of Springfield, MO passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025. She was born May 2, 1958, and raised by her parents, Loyd and Emily "Izetta" Fenton in Nevada, MO.

After graduating from high school in Nevada, Terri attended OTC in Springfield and became a CNA. She enjoyed caring for others and was employed by several care facilities in the area. Terri was a "Spitfire." She had an opinion on everything, and she wasn't afraid to speak her mind. In her free time Terri loved spending time with her partner of 26 years, Michael Long, her children and grandchildren (she especially loved the babies). She also loved to harass Paul, her favorite son in law. She was always there for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Loyd and Izetta Fenton and her sister, Cindy Pike.

She is survived by her life partner, Mike Long; six children, Rick McConnaughey and wife Jamie, Autumn DeWoody and husband Paul, Steven Long, Carol Long, Stephanie Edwards and husband Stephen, and Ron Long; grandchildren, Haley, Walker, Rebecca, Jessie, Dalton, Jasmine, Justin, Izetta, Kalyiah, Trey, Makayla, Amelia, Athena, and Maddox; many great grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Pike; and cousins, Laurie Atwood and Deb Tracy.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services
