Terri Lee (Watson) Mozer, 78, of East Greenwich, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Terri built both a life and a successful career as a Commercial Accounts Manager for a tax reduction agency, earning the respect of colleagues and clients alike for her sharp mind.
In retirement, Terri and her husband, Brian, moved to Florida to enjoy warmer days and a slower pace of life. After Brian's passing, Terri made the heartfelt decision to relocate to Rhode Island to be closer to her daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter, who were her greatest joy.
Terri was a strong and intelligent woman with a warm and generous heart. She stood firmly in her convictions and was never afraid to stand up for others who needed a voice. Her determination was evident in everything she did - especially in the courageous battle she waged against Parkinson's disease. The illness may have challenged her body, but it never diminished her spirit. She continued to live life on her own terms, with resilience, grace, and quiet strength.
She found comfort and companionship in her two beloved cats, Chloe and Cocoa, who stayed faithfully by her side through the years. A devoted fan of the New York Yankees and New York Giants, proudly holding onto her Long Island roots no matter where life took her.
Above all, Terri's family was her everything. She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Jodi Elak-Spaziano and her husband, Steve; her cherished granddaughter, Emma Spaziano; her sister, Jan Morris and her husband, William; her brother Kenneth Watson and his wife, Della; her nieces, Jennifer Torquato, Lauren Zaleski and Donna Stewart. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Brian Mozer; her father, Kenneth R. Watson; and her mother, Marjorie (Traffica) Mysliborski.
The family extends a heartfelt and special thank you to Sheila New, Terri's caregiver and dear friend, whose presence brought light and comfort into Terri's life.
A Celebration of Terri's Life will be held privately this summer in Long Island, New York.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Rhode Island Chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) in honor of Terri's long and courageous journey, in the hope that others may benefit from continued research and support.
