I wrote a long message that disappeared, basically saying I still miss him.

Cindie and family,

Losing one so dear. So sorry for the pain, the loss. So glad you have many great memories. I'm lacking words and unable to be near for whatever small comfort that might bring. But wanting you to know you are in my prayers, that my thoughts continue to circle back to you.

We knew each other from attending New Hope-Solebury High School and both graduated in 1967. We reconnected a few years ago on Facebook. He told me about the loss of his first wife and then how he met Cindie, his current love. He always made me laugh with that crazy and humorous sense of humor. He certainly had strong opinions politically that we lost touch for awhile but he reappeared telling me he was in Facebook jail. I know he loved being a vet and cheering on his favorite sports team, the Patriots. I often jabbed him about the Philadelphia Flyers because I live in NC and cheer on the Carolina Hurricanes hockey team. Last we communicated, he told me he was sick of being sick and was concerned about his diagnosis but he used that sense of humor to find the best in a bad situation. I will miss talking to him but know he is now at peace. Much support to his beautiful family and take comfort in how many people cared about him.

Terry was a great friend for many years - I miss him already. It is amazing to look at his life and see all he did in spite of his endless trips to the hospital.

Terry was a wonderful friend in high school and the best Facebook friend in later years. His humor and his love for all was outstanding.
I shall miss his posts..his understanding and kindness

So many of us are going to miss his sense of humor. After many years we reconnected on Facebook. He remembered riding the school bus with me and sent a friend request. I enjoyed all his quips and tags on FB. Even when I wasn't having a good day he would send me a funny.
