Terry Bourgoin

This year's winter season in Puerto Aventuras wasn't the same without Terry, as initial melancholy reflections of Terry were everywhere: dinner and drinks at Cafe Ole, but where was Terry? Middle aged men jabbering, and walking towards the channel with rods and reels in hand, but where was Terry? The identical twin sisters shopping at Chedraui, "hey where's Terry?" The smiling Midwestern guy with the shaved head catching some rays at the beach, oh, but that's not Terry. Discussions of legalizing cannabis in Minnesota, shouldn't Terry be part of this discussion? Terry's absence was felt everywhere in his adopted winter home of PA, but the melancholy would slowly give way to the the vision of Terry's wonderful smile, and infectious laughter. Terry's enthusiasm, and zest for life enriched the lives of those around him, and we'll always be blessed with the wonderful memories of Terry.

Terry fought hard to continue living the life he loved so much in Puerto Aventuras. His friends were many from the U.S., Canada, and Mexico (most specifically Alex and Maria Jose who opened their hearts and home to Terry and his family in P.A.). Terry will be sadly missed, but not forgotten. I will think of him every time I go to Cafe Ole, or share stories with Alex. I was so sorry to see Terry passed. The whole Bourgoin family is a bunch of good people. Leona was my mom's best friend growing up. God bless
