Terry Eugene Carney Jr.

A Bardstown Resident, Mr. Terry Eugene Carney, Jr., age 37, passed away Monday, November 10, 2025, at his residence. Terry was born January 13, 1988, in Louisville to Pamela Emmert Mikhail and Terry Carney, Sr. He was a truck driver and a member of the Nelson County Fair Board. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, working on antique cars, and tractors, he also enjoyed reading the Bible. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Laverne and Harold Ray Thomas. He is survived by his mother and her husband, Pamela (Zarif) Mikhail and his father and his wife, Terry (Karen) Carney, Sr. both of Bardstown, three daughters, Natilie Carney, Melanie Carney, and Madalynn Moss all of Bardstown, two sisters, Tabatha Carney of Bardstown and Christie Holt of Mount Washington, maternal grandparents, Nancy and Joe Billy of Tompkinsville, paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Brenda Carney of Willisburg, an uncle, Steve Emmert, of Indianapolis, an aunt, Samantha Billy of Tompkinsville, two nieces, nieces, Mary Grace Hobbs and Faith Hobbs, two nephews, Jeremiah Hobbs and Hunter Carney. Funeral Services for Mr. Terry Eugene Carney, Jr., will be 5:00pm, Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown, Dr. James Carroll officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until time of funeral service. Cremation will follow the service. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions for funeral expenses. The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
