Terry Lee Clevenger, 79, passed away peacefully at his home in Chillicothe, Missouri, on December 30, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.

Terry was born on August 1, 1946, in Braymer, Missouri, to Donald D. and Leona Fern (Elam) Clevenger. He attended Polo Elementary School before his family moved to Meadville in 1952, where he later graduated from Meadville High School in 1964. He was baptized and a member at the Meadville United Methodist Church.

That same year, Terry proudly answered the call to serve his country by joining the United States Air Force. He completed basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, and was stationed at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Great Falls, Montana. While serving there, he met and married Lynn Clark. Together they welcomed two daughters, Ashlee and Angela, who were the pride of his life. After his honorable discharge, Terry and Lynn returned to Meadville.

In 1982, Terry became a devoted bonus dad to his Jenni Jo, loving and raising her as his own from the time she was four years old. In 1999, Terry found his soul mate in Debra Younger. They shared 26 wonderful years together, filled with laughter, companionship, and unwavering love. Through Debra, Terry gained another daughter, Vanissa, whom he loved deeply as his own.

Terry spent 41 years working at Donaldson Manufacturing before retiring-a testament to his strong work ethic and dedication.

He loved the outdoors and was an accomplished archery competitor, winning numerous state championships. Hunting and fishing were among his greatest joys, and he cherished the memories made doing what he loved most with family and friends. Fish fries and Hog Roast were a favorite gathering, bringing people together the way Terry always enjoyed.

Known for his quick wit and playful teasing, Terry enjoyed playing cards especially the Game of 31 and never missed an opportunity to joke, laugh, and make those around him feel loved. He also had a passion for woodworking, crafting and restoring beautiful pieces in his shop. Many of those pieces are on display in the homes of the ones he loved!

Terry never met a stranger and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He never missed watching his two favorite sports, Nascar and Kansas City Chiefs! He loved his time at Roach Lake.

Terry was a member of the Chillicothe Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2428, the Chillicothe Elks Lodge 656, and the Roy L. Burkett VFW Post 858.

Terry is survived by his beloved partner, Debra Younger, of the home; daughters, Ashlee Rhodes of Chillicothe,
Angela Farr and husband Mark of Lovettsville, Virginia; and Jenni Hays and husband Melvin of Chillicothe. He was a proud Papa to Kara Roberts, Kory Constant (Robert), Rhyan Kincade, Walker Farr, Jenna Farr, Colton Farr, Charlee Ann Campbell, and Levi Campbell, and a loving great grandfather to Izac Constant, Leah Moss, Rhett Dios, Tarren Dios, and Harlie Hibner. He is also survived by his brother, Lyndell Clevenger, and many cherished nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ronnie and Paul Clevenger; sister and brother-in-law, Doneta and Billie Cornell; stepdaughter, Vanissa Rohrback; grandson, Jacob Farr; and niece, Rhonda Cornell.
