Terry Gene Day, 73, passed away June 7, 2024, at Hendricks Hospital in Danville, Ind. He was born April 19, 1951, in Celina, Ohio to Robert & Margaret (Turner) Day. He was a 1969 graduate of Union City, Indiana High School and then Purdue University.
He is survived by two sisters, Diana (Lewis) Addington of Union City and Sheila (Kim) Hufty of Southgate, Mich. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Terry was a high school math teacher, and a basketball and tennis coach for 40 years, mostly at Brownsburg High School. He spent most of his life living in Indianapolis, and was a big Cubs and Purdue fan. Go Purdue and Cubs!
There will be a celebration of life later this summer.
