Terry Duncan Dr. Terry Duncan passed away on May 13, 2013 in Wichita, Kansas following a short battle with cancer. He was born February 9, 1937 in Tucson, Arizona. He attended Baylor University in Waco, TX, where he met his wife of 52 years, Pat Duncan. Following graduation from Baylor, they moved to Dallas where Terry graduated from Baylor Dental School in 1964. For the next 37 years Terry enjoyed a successful career in the orthodontic practice of Rogers, Duncan and Dillehay. He was active in several dental and orthodontic organizations including serving as president of the Wichita District Dental Society, the Kansas Dental Association, The Kansas State Association of Orthodontists, the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, and the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation. He was a delegate to the American Association of Orthodontics and the American Dental Association. He is also a diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics and a Fellow of the American College of Dentists. He loved spending time with his family, flying and playing golf. He was the current president of the Kansas Golf Association. Terry is survived by his wife, Pat; his children Dave (Shelly) of St. Louis; Debbie(Brian) Johnson of Tulsa; Diane (Brock)Vaughn of Dana Point, Ca; his grandchildren Andy and Blake Johnson, Ally and Layne Duncan; his sister Cindy Duncan of West Burlington, IA and his brother Gary Duncan of Dallas. Funeral services for Terry will take place at 10:00am, Friday, May 17, 2013 at Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel. A time of gathering to celebrate his life will take place immediately following the service at Crestview Country Club. In honor of his love for children and golf a memorial has been established with the Wichita Junior Golf Foundation: 7529 E. 10th Circle North, Wichita, Kansas, 67206.
