Terry Lee Fraser

It’s with a heavy heart and deep sorrow that the family of Terry Lee Fraser announce his peaceful passing March 17, 2026, in Carmel, Indiana after a brief illness. While soft spoken, he left behind a legacy of unwavering kindness, compassion and patience. His sense of humor and gentleness will be missed by many.

Proceeding Terry in death are his parents Marion and Irene Fraser who were thrilled when their first child, Terry, was born on May 28, 1946. Terry graduated from Purdue and met his wife, Diane Disney, on their first day in an IBM class, were married 11 months later, and remained inseparable for 56 years. He continued his education with an MBA to hone his skills as a hospital consultant. After “retiring”, he spent years assisting hospitals as President of Fraser Healthcare I/T consulting.

Terry was raised in the small town of North Liberty, IN with his brother and two sisters. Remaining to cherish his memory are his brother James Fraser (Debra), his sisters Debra Peterman, Barbara Bartkowiak (Ken) his wife’s sisters Virginia Novotney, Dorothy Walker and many nieces and nephews.

While not working he enjoyed reading science fiction, bridge, Virgin Island beaches and his passion for golf. The plaque announcing his exciting “hole in one” remains on his office wall to this day. Terry will be deeply missed.

A funeral service will take place at 12:00pm, on Wednesday, March 25th, 2026, at Flanner Buchanan – Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46250. He will be laid to rest following the service at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family of Terry Fraser requests donations be made to Indiana University School of Medicine to support the Stroke Research in Neurology Fund.
