I am sadden to hear about Terry's passing. Terry was a unique person. I remember him from school and worked briefly with him at Bendix. The last time I spoke with him was at our 30th Class Reunion. We sat and talked for along time about the past and what had happened over the years. I will miss him at the next one.

my sympathy goes out to the family and friends of terry gilmer. he was a unique individual, and we had some good times together. we worked together for a seismic survey business called bendix, out of traverse city. he actually got me the job and later we shared a home on rennie lake for a short while. we also spent some time together in the Upper Peninsula of
michigan near a crossroad town called Kenton. my uncle Vy was building a huge log cabin out in the middle of nowhere on land that his parents had homesteaded. Vy was near 70 years old, it was really cool. Terry was impressed I know. we both helped cutting wood for the cabin and in a small part of the building process, which Vy always said he had to re-do.
I visited Terry at his land near Champion Michigan, on a few occasions, and once ran into him in Green Bay Wisconsin , where I worked for a toyota dealer, and he just happened to be looking for some spare parts at a junkyard and I was also getting parts there.
we ended up getting some lunch at Kroll's Restaurant and that was
probably the last time I saw him.
I am glad for that chance meeting,
and wish the best for him in the happy hunting ground.
