Terry Joe Goldman

Terry Goldman, age 50, passed away Wednesday July 2, 2025, due to complications with end stage liver disease.

Born in Pleasanton, TX and lived in Smithville, TX.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Wanda Goldman, which they would have celebrated 25 years of marriage this December. Anyone blessed enough to be a part of their life knew they were inseparable and still in their honeymoon phase.

He is survived by his mother, Sonya Aeolia Goldman Favors (husband Wes), his two stepbrothers, several sisters-in laws and brothers-in laws, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of which he loved dearly. He is proceeded in death by his step “dad” Charles “Pop” Campbell, “Papa” Wesley Elmo Goldman and his grandmother Myrtle Goldman.

He was the most protective, caring and good-hearted person you would have known. He worked on heavy equipment most of his life and then became a safety consultant in the oil field. He was a man of many talents; electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical and most importantly cooking. Being his wife’s personal chef, everything he cooked was amazing, but her personal favorites were always his BBQ ribs and brisket.

His family will miss his infinite world of knowledge and stories. We will especially miss his ability to create or fix any quirky ideas his brother-in-law, Mikey, would come up with. He was like a walking encyclopedia and knew interesting facts and information about almost every topic. He was known for his witty jokes and comebacks, so much so that your ribs would hurt from laughing. He brought so much joy and happiness to our lives and will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Schertz Funeral Home, in Schertz Texas. Guests may arrive at 6:00 PM and service will begin at 7:00 PM.
