Terry Willis Headen

Mr. Terry Willis Headen, age 61 born September 24, 1964. He was the third child of seven children to the late Willis and Pearl Martin Headen.

Terry passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026 at High Point Regional Hospital. Terry was well known for taking care of others that was in need, opening up his home to provide a safe place and preparing a meal for anyone. Terry was an excellent caretaker of his brothers Derek and Mike. Terry enjoyed cooking, grilling, and entertaining family and friends.

Terry was married to Linda Sanford Headen until her passing on September 12, 2014. To this union Terry gained a bonus daughter.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and two brothers, Kenneth Lee Headen and Derek Orlando Headen.

Cherishing his memories are three daughters, Kristen Ray (Larry) of Sanford, NC, Mercedes Headen (Timothy) of LA, California, and Tawana Sanford of Asheboro, NC; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two sisters, Priscilla Nettles (Donell) of Ramseur, NC, and Denise Headen McLeod (Robert) of Sanford, NC; two brothers, Michael Headen of Ramseur, NC, and Reginald Headen of Siler City, NC; one aunt, Aileen Hadley (William) of Siler City, NC; two sisters-in-law Deborah Sanford-Hargrove (Alex) of Siler City, NC, and Laura Loxx of Liberty, NC; his dog, Angel whom he adored; three special friends, Kim Shiver, William Jefferies, and Tommy Stackhouse. He also leaves to cherish his memories several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
