Terry Daryle Murrell, Sr., 64, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on February 9, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on November 1, 1961, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Terry was a man with an old-school soul and a deep love for the simple, meaningful things in life. He loved working on trucks and could often be found tinkering under the hood, taking pride in every job well done. He had a passion for old classic cars and horses, and he never missed a good old western show. Mornings weren't complete without a hot cup of coffee, and he always looked forward to a good home-cooked meal-especially meat loaf or pork chops.

More than anything, Terry loved his family. His greatest joy came from spending time with his children and grandchildren, who meant the world to him. He also shared a special bond with his beloved furbaby, Diesel.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy Jeter; his children, Terry Daryl Murrell, Jr. and wife Jacqueline, Toby Joe Murrell and wife Larissa, and Larry Shepherd; the mother of his children, Cathy Wesson; his sister, Teresa Dunsworth; and his 11 cherished grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Murrell; and his siblings, Vester, Tina, and Trina.

Terry will be remembered for his strong spirit, his hardworking hands, and the deep love he had for his family. His memory will live on in the stories shared, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely.
