Terry Eugene Owens, 52, entered into rest on Saturday, January 6, 2024.
Terry was born on May 6, 1971, in Columbus, Georgia. He grew up mostly in Warner Robins and graduated from Warner Robins High School in 1989. He had a variety of interesting jobs such as West Plumbing, Houston County Board of Education, Robert Conklin Plumbing, and as of 2007 until his retirement, Robins Air Force Base where he was a heavy equipment operator. Terry was known as a jack of all trades and could repair just about anything from cars to woodworking to plumbing. In his free time, Terry was an avid Alabama fan and was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and riding four-wheelers; he also often played softball with club teams locally. His presence will be deeply felt by those he loved.
His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Michelle Owens of Warner Robins; children, Austin Taylor Owens (Madisyn) of Warner Robins and Ashley Lynn Owens (Jacob) of Warner Robins; stepson, Blake Anthony Layfield (Jenna) of Gray, GA; grandchildren, Ashton, Easton, and Adalyn; parents, Terry Allen Owens (Denise) of Thomasville, GA and Robin Boyd Martin (Jim) of Maine; and brother, Rob Owens (Sarah) of Oklahoma and their children, London and Lylla.
