Terry S. Peyton

Terry S. Peyton, known as Steve to his loved ones, passed away on November 10, 2025 surrounded by his loved ones in Paducah, Kentucky.
Steve was a devoted husband to Saundra Peyton for 48 years, father to three daughters, a dedicated family man, and a loving pawpaw to eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Steve enjoyed working at the railroad for several years, along with his years of service at Lone Oak High School, as well as some passing time working on the farm with his good friend. He enjoyed working outside and loved going fishing with his beloved wife, Saundra, and family.
Steve is survived by his wife, Saundra Peyton; daughters, Sara, Kayla, and Hannah; grandchildren, Desirae Halstead, Paige Halstead, Eli Peyton, Jalen Chamberlain, Tydell Gathright, Traellin Gathright, Sebastain Peyton, Edwyn Peyton, along with his four great grandchildren. Most importantly, his mother, Helen Peyton, and his two sisters, Marsha Carmicheal and Jeanie Fisher.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Peyton.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Bro. Tommy Gleeson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to service time Friday at the funeral home.
