Terry Clayton Ricke

Terry C. Ricke, 72, lifelong resident of Hibbing died Monday, June 9, 2025, at his home in Hibbing.

He was born June 26, 1952, to Clayton and Jeanette (Marchow) Ricke in Hibbing. Terry married Gail (Boldt) on March 3, 1973, in Hibbing. He was employed as a Shovel Runner for Minntac, retiring after 33 years of service. He was a past member of the Hibbing Bowling League. After his retirement, Terry became a mechanic and loved working on vehicles. His favorite pastimes included playing cards, especially poker and cribbage, bowling and fishing.

Terry is survived by his wife, Gail Ricke of Hibbing, father, Clayton Ricke, children, Joshuah (Sue Carpenter) Ricke, Jessica & Michael Brooks, and Christopher Smock, sisters, Debbie Yorkell, Lori (Christopher) LaFrendier, Michele (James) Findlater, grandchildren, Jennifer (Michael) Englehorn, Jasmine (Devin Morse) Anderson, Nicole (Clayton) Burlison, Ryan O'Neil, Travis (Sammie) Kaneski, Justin Ricke, and Tasha O'Neil, great-grandchildren, Talia Webber, T.J. Kaneski, and Katara Kaneski, In-Laws, Jane Smock, Alice (Don) Infelise, uncle, Roger Ricke, along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Ricke.

Funeral services for Terry will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2025 at the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing. John O'Neil will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the memorial service at the funeral home on Friday.
