Terry Roberts

Mr. Terry Roberts, age 75, of Franklin, KY, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2019 at 1:09 PM at the Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, April 4, 2019 with burial to follow in the Sulphur Spring Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY.

Terry was born May 19, 1943 in Simpson Co., KY to the late James Vaughn Roberts and the late Edith Dawson Roberts Akin. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Roberts, step-father, Duncan Akin, sister-in-law, Joneida Roberts, and brother-in-law, Billy Reid.

Terry is survived by his wife, Pat Roberts, three children, Tracey Roberts of Birmingham, AL, Debbie Henderson (Ron) of Sierra Madre, CA, and Bart Roberts (Kim) of Franklin, KY, four grandchildren, Jessica Clayton (Cody), Maisie Henderson, Riley Henderson, and Zoie Roberts, one great-granddaughter, Maci Clayton, a sister, Brenda Reid of Franklin, KY, and special caregiver, Suellen Walton of Woodburn, KY.

Terry Roberts was an employee of the Kendall Company for 38 years, starting out as a material handler in 1961 and working his way up to positions as an electrician, engineer, maintenance foreman, and finally, management.

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday April 3, 2019 and from 6:00 AM until service time Thursday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
