Terry Gleen Ruyle, known as "Outlaw," passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at his home in Ardmore, Oklahoma, at the age of 60. Born on February 28, 1964, in McKinney, Texas, to Donald E. Ruyle and Mary S. (Cisco) Ruyle, Terry was raised in Wylie, Texas.
Terry earned his GED and built a diverse career that included truck driving and working for the City of Garland, Texas. He held a CDL and CHL certification, earning recognition as an expert marksman. A proud member of the Chickasaw Nation, Terry lived a life rich with passions and hobbies. He loved fishing, rebuilding and working on cars, and collecting firearms. Terry also became an ordained minister, a testament to his dedication to helping others.
Known for making the best chicken and dumplings. Terry was always teaching life lessons and reminding his loved ones how much he cared for them.
Terry is survived by his wife, Kim Ruyle; his daughter, Janice Ruyle, and her spouse, Tristan Gillette; his brother, Jerry Ruyle and wife Gwen; his sister, Donna Kuebler; and his beloved grandchildren, Jack and Dean Veney. He also leaves behind his niece, Maddie Cook and her husband Dylan; nephews, Dustin Ruyle and Shawn Kuebler; and great-nieces and nephews, Winter Cook, Westin Cook, Collin Kuebler, and Bella Ruyle.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Mary "Kitty" Ruyle. His legacy of love, laughter, and lessons will forever be cherished by his family and friends.
A celebration of Terry's life will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 11:00 AM at DeArman-Clark Funeral Home in Tishomingo, OK. A full obituary is being composed and will be published here once available.
