Terry was born on April 6, 1948 and passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2015. Terry was a resident of Arab, Alabama at the time of his passing. He proudly served in county during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife Joyce. No services are planned at this time. Lieu of flowers Memorial may be made to the Samaritan EMS.

Terry Alfred Schutt was a devoted father to his five adopted children and three grandchildren. He had a love for cats, the 1980's Chicago Bears (our favorite player was "Sweetness" of course, #34), and the Boston celtics, (Bird and "The Chief"). He showed his love through kind and thoughtful acts, which carry me through each day. I am grateful for all of the loving memories and vast wisdom that will stay with me, always. Thank you for being my father, my teacher, and a leader. I can finally say what I wanted to for so long, goodbye dad. I love you
