Terry Ann Smith, 68 of Inverness, FL passed away on March 10, 2026 in the comfort of her own home after being on hospice care for a few weeks. She was born August 1, 1957 in Paterson NJ, grew up in Little Falls NJ, raised a family in Totowa, NJ and moved to Florida 12 years ago. Her and her husband were both foster parents to many children over the years to kids in need and in her younger years played on softball and volleyball teams. She loved spending time camping at Beaverhill Campground in her family years and loved her church and bingo in her golden years. She is survived by a daughter Tammy Carver, granddaughter Brianna Briggs, mother Beverly Schoenberger, and sister Lynn Roerich. Terry is preceded in death by her husband Donald Smith and sister Susan Schoenberger.
